Why an AI Corner ?
The Digital Transformation Blueprint 2025–2029 places AI at the heart of Mauritius’ journey to become a smart, secure and citizen-first digital nation. Through this space, we aim to share updates, invite collaboration and provide a transparent window into our national efforts to harness AI responsibly for public good.
Toward a National AI Strategy

We will soon start formulating our National AI Strategy, which will guide the responsible development and deployment of AI across sectors. This will be done through a broad and inclusive national consultation process, involving:

  • Industry and private sector actors
  • Academia and research institutions
  • Public institutions and regulators
  • Civil society and the general public
